# The Walls vs Stack Ball

The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Walls at 66% against Stack Ball's 0%. The Walls also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 27). Stack Ball's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Walls sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stack Ball sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stack Ball holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Walls has 1.4K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of The Walls's written reviews are positive against 0% of Stack Ball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Walls ships an update weekly, Stack Ball every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
