# Bidspirit vs AuctionZip

The clearest difference is ads: Bidspirit at none against AuctionZip's shown. Bidspirit also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (44% vs 24%). AuctionZip's advantage is ratings volume (670 vs 52). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AuctionZip holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AuctionZip has 670 ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Bidspirit's written reviews are positive against 24% of AuctionZip's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bidspirit ships an update every 3 months, AuctionZip every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
