# Siksilk vs DSQUARED2

Siksilk and DSQUARED2 both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Siksilk's written reviews are positive against 53% of DSQUARED2's. Siksilk also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). DSQUARED2's advantage is ratings volume (343 vs 14) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Siksilk against 4.8 for DSQUARED2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DSQUARED2 has 343 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Siksilk's written reviews are positive against 53% of DSQUARED2's.

Siksilk ships an update every 5 weeks, DSQUARED2 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
