# Periódico Al Día vs El Progreso

The clearest difference is update cadence: El Progreso at every 3 months against Periódico Al Día's every 48 months. El Progreso also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Periódico Al Día ships an update every 48 months, El Progreso every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
