# Smoosh! vs Avolteha View

The clearest difference is rating: Avolteha View at 4.5 against Smoosh!'s 3.9. Avolteha View also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (202 vs 32). Smoosh!'s advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 41%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smoosh! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Avolteha View asks for nothing beyond the download.

Avolteha View holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Avolteha View has 202 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Smoosh!'s written reviews are positive against 41% of Avolteha View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smoosh! ships an update every 2 months, Avolteha View every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
