# Flyover Country vs FlyingOver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FlyingOver at 100% against Flyover Country's 47%. FlyingOver also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Flyover Country's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (4.1 vs 3.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlyingOver sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Flyover Country asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flyover Country holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flyover Country has 314 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Flyover Country's written reviews are positive against 100% of FlyingOver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flyover Country ships an update monthly, FlyingOver every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
