# abceed vs 絵の英単語

The clearest difference is rating: abceed at 4.9 against 絵の英単語's 4.3. abceed also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (316 vs 8). 絵の英単語's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 44%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. abceed sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and 絵の英単語 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

abceed holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: abceed has 316 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of abceed's written reviews are positive against 63% of 絵の英単語's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

abceed ships an update fortnightly, 絵の英単語 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
