# Serta MP Remote vs Bed Control

The clearest difference is rating: Bed Control at 4.0 against Serta MP Remote's 2.4. Bed Control also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 33 months). Serta MP Remote's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 15%) and ratings volume (57 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bed Control holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Serta MP Remote has 57 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Serta MP Remote's written reviews are positive against 15% of Bed Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Serta MP Remote ships an update every 33 months, Bed Control every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
