# Prime vs Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor

The clearest difference is price: Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor at Free against Prime's $2.99. Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 66). Prime's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor is free to download; Prime costs $2.99 up front. Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Prime asks for nothing beyond the download.

Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor has 12K ratings behind it against 66, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Prime's written reviews are positive against 50% of Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Prime ships an update every 4 months, Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
