# MLS vs Meeple Guild

MLS and Meeple Guild both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Meeple Guild's written reviews are positive against 58% of MLS's. Meeple Guild also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). MLS's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (12K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meeple Guild sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. MLS asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MLS against 5.0 for Meeple Guild. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MLS has 12K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of MLS's written reviews are positive against 100% of Meeple Guild's.

MLS ships an update every 2 months, Meeple Guild every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
