# FlipCast vs Purese

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlipCast at every 2 weeks against Purese's every 6 months. Purese's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FlipCast ships an update every 2 weeks, Purese every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
