# Rain Bird vs Fleetr

Rain Bird and Fleetr both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Fleetr's written reviews are positive against 31% of Rain Bird's. Rain Bird's advantage is ratings volume (79K vs 26) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rain Bird holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rain Bird has 79K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Rain Bird's written reviews are positive against 89% of Fleetr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rain Bird ships an update every 2 months, Fleetr monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
