# Rain Bird vs Beatbot

The clearest difference is rating: Rain Bird at 4.7 against Beatbot's 4.1. Rain Bird also leads on ratings volume (70K vs 299) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Beatbot's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 31%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rain Bird holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rain Bird has 70K ratings behind it against 299, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Rain Bird's written reviews are positive against 63% of Beatbot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rain Bird ships an update every 2 months, Beatbot every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
