# Take Control Console vs The Wings

The clearest difference is ads: Take Control Console at none against The Wings's shown. The Wings's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Take Control Console ships an update every 3 months, The Wings fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
