# Flexjet vs Flapper

The clearest difference is monetization model: Flexjet at free against Flapper's free with in-app purchases. Flexjet also leads on ratings volume (725 vs 144). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Flexjet against 4.7 for Flapper. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flexjet has 725 ratings behind it against 144, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Flexjet's written reviews are positive against 75% of Flapper's.

Flexjet ships an update every 3 weeks, Flapper fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
