# Flexjet vs Black Tomato

The clearest difference is rating: Flexjet at 4.8 against Black Tomato's 4.0. Flexjet also leads on ratings volume (725 vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Black Tomato's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flexjet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flexjet has 725 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flexjet ships an update every 3 weeks, Black Tomato every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
