# Sotheby's vs MLUX Network

The clearest difference is rating: MLUX Network at 5.0 against Sotheby's's 3.4. MLUX Network also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Sotheby's's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (95 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MLUX Network holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sotheby's has 95 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sotheby's ships an update every 2 weeks, MLUX Network every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
