# VBMAPP vs Do Better Collective

The clearest difference is rating: Do Better Collective at 5.0 against VBMAPP's 3.7. Do Better Collective also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). VBMAPP's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (17 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VBMAPP sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Do Better Collective sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Do Better Collective holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VBMAPP has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VBMAPP ships an update every 5 weeks, Do Better Collective every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
