# Time Crimes vs Crime Case

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Time Crimes at 71% against Crime Case's 0%. Time Crimes also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (436 vs 80). Crime Case's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Time Crimes sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Crime Case sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crime Case holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Crimes has 436 ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Time Crimes's written reviews are positive against 0% of Crime Case's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Time Crimes ships an update every 3 weeks, Crime Case every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
