# Tehillim vs Hodu

The clearest difference is ads: Tehillim at none against Hodu's shown. Tehillim also leads on ratings volume (7K vs 6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Tehillim against 5.0 for Hodu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tehillim has 7K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of Tehillim's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hodu's.

Tehillim ships an update monthly, Hodu every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
