# Vyke vs RECRD

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RECRD at 88% against Vyke's 39%. RECRD also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Vyke's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 19). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RECRD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vyke has 1.9K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of Vyke's written reviews are positive against 88% of RECRD's.

Vyke ships an update every 2 months, RECRD weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
