# Lingbe vs Polyglot Video Player

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Polyglot Video Player at none against Lingbe's 10. Polyglot Video Player also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Lingbe's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingbe sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Polyglot Video Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

Polyglot Video Player holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lingbe has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
