# AnyForecast vs Arc

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AnyForecast at none against Arc's 3. Arc's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arc sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. AnyForecast asks for nothing beyond the download.

AnyForecast ships an update every 4 months, Arc fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
