# Micro vs Uptime

The clearest difference is rating: Uptime at 4.7 against Micro's 2.0. Uptime also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 1). Micro's advantage is iOS requirement (7.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Micro sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Uptime sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Uptime holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Uptime has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
