# Micro vs Mindsnap

The clearest difference is rating: Mindsnap at 4.6 against Micro's 2.0. Mindsnap also leads on ratings volume (297 vs 1). Micro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Micro sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Mindsnap sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindsnap holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindsnap has 297 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
