# LumaFusion vs Action Control

The clearest difference is price: Action Control at $4.99 against LumaFusion's $29.99. Action Control also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (71% vs 62%). LumaFusion's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (25K vs 15). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

LumaFusion costs $29.99 and Action Control $4.99 up front. LumaFusion sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Action Control asks for nothing beyond the download.

LumaFusion holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LumaFusion has 25K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of LumaFusion's written reviews are positive against 71% of Action Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LumaFusion ships an update monthly, Action Control every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
