# Latch App vs HOMMA

The clearest difference is rating: Latch App at 4.7 against HOMMA's 4.0. Latch App also leads on ratings volume (155K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Latch App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Latch App has 155K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Latch App's written reviews are positive against 25% of HOMMA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Latch App ships an update every 2 months, HOMMA monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
