# Fastzilla VPN vs VPN Fastway

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fastzilla VPN at 66% against VPN Fastway's 25%. Fastzilla VPN also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 10 months). VPN Fastway's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fastzilla VPN sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and VPN Fastway sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Fastway holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fastzilla VPN has 295 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Fastzilla VPN's written reviews are positive against 25% of VPN Fastway's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fastzilla VPN ships an update every 6 weeks, VPN Fastway every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
