# CATCHPLAY+ vs Seakun

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Seakun at 100% against CATCHPLAY+'s 30%. Seakun also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 24) and ads (none vs shown). CATCHPLAY+'s advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (114 vs 3). On price, update cadence and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CATCHPLAY+ sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Seakun asks for nothing beyond the download.

CATCHPLAY+ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CATCHPLAY+ has 114 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of CATCHPLAY+'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Seakun's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CATCHPLAY+ ships an update every 3 weeks, Seakun fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
