AstroDash

They're watching. Stay in the dark. AstroDash is a hand-drawn space horror about a rescue pilot with no weapons, a small lamp and a lot of nerve. Somewhere out there, three astronauts are still alive. Find them, keep out of the searchlights, and get everyone through the portal before anything notices you. THEY'RE WATCHING Searchlight UFOs patrol every sector. Drift into a beam and a "?" starts to fill. Let it fill and it turns to "!" - and now it's hunting you. Break its line of sight, hide behind asteroids, and wait in the dark until it gives up. A MAP THAT DRAWS ITSELF Every sector begins as blank paper. Your lamp inks in the space around you as you explore; what you've seen stays behind in pencil, what you haven't stays hidden. Something could be waiting just past the edge of the light. TOOLS FOR THE DARK - Dash - a burst of speed to slip through danger. - Ping - an amber sonar sweep that marks lost astronauts, the portal and the watchers around you. - Cloak - fade from sight for a few seconds, even right inside a searchlight. 30 RESCUES, 90 STARS Three acts that grow slowly darker, with more watchers and less room to hide. Earn a star for escaping, a second for bringing every astronaut home, and a third for never being seen. Can you pull off the perfect rescue? THE WORKSHOP Spend the salvage you bring back on a brighter lamp, a faster Ping, a longer Cloak and extra hull plating. Upgrades help, but every rescue can be completed without them. THE PILOT'S FIELD JOURNAL Ink on paper from the first page to the last: a journal-cover menu, a star chart of every rescue, and a logbook entry stamped for each one you bring home. HOW TO PLAY - Steer with the on-screen joystick. - Find all three astronauts in each sector. - Stay out of the searchlights - or use Cloak when you can't. - Fly into the portal to escape. PLAY YOUR WAY - Reduce motion option (turns off screen shake, slow motion and pulsing effects) - Left-handed controls and adjustable joystick size - Vibration, music and sound settings - Everything is shown on screen - no sound needed to play - Play offline without an internet connection They're still out there, alone in the dark. Are you going back for them?

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Tiny Planes at none against AstroDash's shown. Tiny Planes also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). AstroDash's advantage is update cadence (every 8 months vs every 43 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
