# Database for Terraria vs Redstone Guide

The clearest difference is ads: Database for Terraria at none against Redstone Guide's shown. Database for Terraria also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 14.0). Both are free to download. Database for Terraria sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Redstone Guide sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Redstone Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 984 and 1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Database for Terraria's written reviews are positive against 66% of Redstone Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Database for Terraria ships an update fortnightly, Redstone Guide every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
