# Party Disco Dance Strobe Light vs STROBE

The clearest difference is rating: STROBE at 4.3 against Party Disco Dance Strobe Light's 3.8. STROBE also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 6 months). Party Disco Dance Strobe Light's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 12) and iOS requirement (7.1.2 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

STROBE holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Party Disco Dance Strobe Light has 66 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Party Disco Dance Strobe Light's written reviews are positive against 60% of STROBE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Party Disco Dance Strobe Light ships an update every 6 months, STROBE every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
