# BC Pill Reminder vs Tablet

The clearest difference is rating: BC Pill Reminder at 4.5 against Tablet's 3.7. BC Pill Reminder also leads on ratings volume (295 vs 3). Tablet's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BC Pill Reminder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Tablet asks for nothing beyond the download.

BC Pill Reminder holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BC Pill Reminder has 295 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of BC Pill Reminder's written reviews are positive against 40% of Tablet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BC Pill Reminder ships an update weekly, Tablet every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
