# Lucky Draw Tool vs Random

The clearest difference is ads: Lucky Draw Tool at none against Random's shown. Lucky Draw Tool also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 56%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Random's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lucky Draw Tool sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Random sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Random holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random has 2.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Lucky Draw Tool's written reviews are positive against 56% of Random's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lucky Draw Tool ships an update every 5 weeks, Random every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
