# Rainbow Secrets vs Ring Stack

The clearest difference is ads: Rainbow Secrets at none against Ring Stack's shown. Rainbow Secrets also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Ring Stack's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rainbow Secrets sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Ring Stack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Rainbow Secrets against 4.9 for Ring Stack. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ring Stack has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Rainbow Secrets ships an update every 2 weeks, Ring Stack every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
