# SemanTer vs AI Notes

The clearest difference is ads: SemanTer at none against AI Notes's shown. SemanTer also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SemanTer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and AI Notes sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
