# Impresso Pro vs AlphaFTP

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Impresso Pro at 73% against AlphaFTP's 0%. Impresso Pro also leads on ratings volume (78 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). AlphaFTP's advantage is price ($9.99 vs $29.99) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). On ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Impresso Pro costs $29.99 and AlphaFTP $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AlphaFTP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Impresso Pro has 78 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Impresso Pro's written reviews are positive against 0% of AlphaFTP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Impresso Pro ships an update every 3 months, AlphaFTP every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
