# Time Clock Wizard vs Watertight

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Time Clock Wizard at 49% against Watertight's 0%. Time Clock Wizard also leads on ratings volume (180 vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Watertight's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.5) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Watertight holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Clock Wizard has 180 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Time Clock Wizard's written reviews are positive against 0% of Watertight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Time Clock Wizard ships an update fortnightly, Watertight weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
