# mSecure vs Nokslock

mSecure and Nokslock both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Nokslock's written reviews are positive against 62% of mSecure's. Nokslock also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). mSecure's advantage is ratings volume (51K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mSecure sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Nokslock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nokslock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mSecure has 51K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of mSecure's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nokslock's.

mSecure ships an update every 2 months, Nokslock every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
