# mSecure vs DropHere

The clearest difference is update cadence: DropHere at every 2 weeks against mSecure's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mSecure sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and DropHere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mSecure ships an update every 2 months, DropHere every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
