# Presli vs Elgin Smart

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Presli at 76% against Elgin Smart's 18%. Presli also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 12 months). Elgin Smart's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (44 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elgin Smart holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elgin Smart has 44 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Presli's written reviews are positive against 18% of Elgin Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Presli ships an update every 3 weeks, Elgin Smart every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
