# Aviation Study Guide vs SIFT Tutoring

The clearest difference is price: SIFT Tutoring at Free against Aviation Study Guide's $29.99. SIFT Tutoring also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (479 vs 52). Aviation Study Guide's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On review sentiment, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

SIFT Tutoring is free to download; Aviation Study Guide costs $29.99 up front. SIFT Tutoring sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Aviation Study Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.

SIFT Tutoring holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIFT Tutoring has 479 ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Aviation Study Guide's written reviews are positive against 60% of SIFT Tutoring's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
