# eJournal Pro vs Justnote

The clearest difference is price: Justnote at Free against eJournal Pro's $1.99. Justnote also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). eJournal Pro's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On review sentiment, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Justnote is free to download; eJournal Pro costs $1.99 up front. Justnote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. eJournal Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

eJournal Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of eJournal Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of Justnote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
