# eJournal Pro vs To Do List

The clearest difference is price: To Do List at Free against eJournal Pro's $1.99. To Do List also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (84 vs 8). eJournal Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (44% vs 25%). On in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

To Do List is free to download; eJournal Pro costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

To Do List holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: To Do List has 84 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of eJournal Pro's written reviews are positive against 25% of To Do List's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eJournal Pro ships an update every 4 months, To Do List every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
