# Fawesome vs FLIXY

The clearest difference is rating: Fawesome at 4.7 against FLIXY's 4.0. Fawesome also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 4). FLIXY's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fawesome holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fawesome has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fawesome ships an update weekly, FLIXY every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
