# Fawesome vs A2D2

The clearest difference is review sentiment: A2D2 at 100% against Fawesome's 43%. A2D2 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Fawesome's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fawesome holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fawesome has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Fawesome's written reviews are positive against 100% of A2D2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fawesome ships an update weekly, A2D2 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
