# Fawesome vs the Internet Puzzle Database

The clearest difference is rating: Fawesome at 4.7 against the Internet Puzzle Database's 3.5. Fawesome also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 2). the Internet Puzzle Database's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fawesome holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fawesome has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Fawesome's written reviews are positive against 50% of the Internet Puzzle Database's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fawesome ships an update weekly, the Internet Puzzle Database every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
