# Fawesome vs Chukkl

The clearest difference is ads: Chukkl at none against Fawesome's shown. Chukkl also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Fawesome's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chukkl holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fawesome has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fawesome ships an update weekly, Chukkl every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
