# Push Ups Counter vs Push

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Push Ups Counter at none against Push's 1. Push Ups Counter also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (133 vs 10). Push's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 9 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Push sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $8.99 per year. Push Ups Counter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Push Ups Counter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Push Ups Counter has 133 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Push Ups Counter's written reviews are positive against 50% of Push's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Push Ups Counter ships an update every 9 months, Push every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
