# MEEFF vs Talkative

MEEFF and Talkative both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Talkative's written reviews are positive against 21% of MEEFF's. Talkative also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ads (none vs shown). MEEFF's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 4) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MEEFF sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month. Talkative asks for nothing beyond the download.

MEEFF holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MEEFF has 20K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of MEEFF's written reviews are positive against 80% of Talkative's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MEEFF ships an update every 9 days, Talkative every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
